Katherine Gibson M.Ed., is a popular public speaker and accomplished author whose work has been translated into several languages. She has appeared on numerous television and radio programs across North America. Gibson began her adventure with Ted Harrison in 2005, when they embarked on a four-year exploration of his long and colourful life. In her quest to fully understand her subject, she travelled to County Durham, England, where Harrison was born. She also journeyed to the Yukon, retracing Harrison’s twenty-five-year love affair with the north. While there, she ventured up the Yukon River by riverboat, exploring the historic Klondike route between Whitehorse and Dawson City, which Harrison had also done in 1985 with Pierre Berton and his family.
Ted Harrison: Painting Paradise is the culmination of those experiences.
